international design or i.d. magazine announced that 3000 products were submitted for
their 46th i.d. annual design review across 8 categories. winners, including the strida
folding bicycle, appear in the july / august 2000 issue. |

Millennium product award
prime minister tony blair, on behalf of the british design council, selected the strida
folding bike to be a millenium product. it was honored as one of "the most innovative
products available and a glimpse into the future". the exibition of winners is displayed
in a spiral of innovation that will tour the world. |

the journey zone section of the millenium dome in england exhibits the strida bike as an
example of the kind of cleaner, smarter and safer transportation in the future. commuters
and recreational riders can take strida on the train, boat or car as a healthy and
convenient way to move around. |
